For the entire time since Blaine arrived, Puck had only left his side once... Long enough to go pee, because he got the feeling that peeing himself wouldn't help anything, and even then, he'd asked Mike to stay close to him, and left the bathroom door open so he could hear if anything happened in the 30 seconds it would take him to pee. But other than that, Puck had been quite content to remain at his best friend's side, watching over him quietly. He hadn't even slept himself, afraid that he'd be out of it when Blaine woke up, and his friend would panic. So when he heard the groan of discomfort from Blaine, Puck immediately shifted to be a little closer in case Blaine spoke.
"Hey, take it easy, buddy," Puck said softly when Blaine started shifting and moving a bit too quickly. He moved himself to help get the blankets off of Blaine. "You slept a while... You're probably still gonna be feeling kinda shitty for a while. Just chill for a little bit, okay? Let yourself get caught up here."
And that was when Blaine said the name Puck knew would be the first thing on his mind. "He... He's not here right now, buddy," he explained to Blaine. "He's okay, though. How are you feeling?"
