Kurt's hand gripped around Blaine's that was still under his shirt, and feeling his husband's hand truly against his bare skin all over again, Kurt felt like he was hit with a bolt of electricity. Through the flimsy fabric of the shirt, his fingers entwined with Blaine's just briefly until Blaine's entire body was wracked with sobs and Kurt just pulled him back into an embrace. Even that only last a few moments though before he sought Blaine's lips out and kissed him. He could taste the tears, and Blaine was still clinging to him, so there wasn't anything distinctly beautiful or romantic about it, but the familiarity was there. It was like no time had passed at all since Kurt's last kiss to his husband. Blaine's lips were dry and chapped, probably from the hyperventilating of the ordeal he had been through, but for the first time in two years, things felt complete for Kurt again.
His typical protectiveness kicked in then, though. He kept one arm wrapped securely around Blaine, despite his own weakness he had developed in himself in his depression missing Blaine. He looked over his teary face, his red-rimmed eyes and automatically reached up to stroke his fingers through Blaine's hair to try and tame the curls when he wasn't exactly sure what he should do first to help Blaine and fix him. "You're okay. Oh my god, you're so beautiful, you're so perfect. I love you... I love you so fucking much, baby. I missed you..." he whispered, resting his forehead against Blaine's with a sob of his own as the relief start to flood him so thick and fast, his legs felt like jelly and it was a miracle he could stay up on them. He cupped Blaine's face in his hand, sniffling and blinking back the tears to focus on Blaine. "A-Are you warm? Are you hungry? Does anything hurt? D-Do you feel okay? Y-You're... clean. You're clean, and there's no... no..." He trailed off. No blood. But didn't Mike say Blaine came from Kurt's death? Hang on...
And that was when Kurt's head whipped around and Puck and Mike found themselves pierced with one of the most epic of bitchglares they probably ever experienced.
